Using Blackboard: Log In to Blackboard
The URL or Web address of Harper's Blackboard is http://harper.blackboard.com.
Visit http://harper.blackboard.com and follow the instructions below to log in with your Username and Password.Your Username and Password allow you to access all your Blackboard course sites.
Step 1: Determine Your Username
Your Username is your first name, your last name, and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number (no spaces between letters or numbers).
Example: If your name is George Washington and your Social Security number is 956-78-1234, your user name is GeorgeWashington1234.
Step 2: Determine Your Password
Your Password is your entire Social Security number (no spaces between letters or numbers).
Example: If your name is George Washington and your Social Security number is 956-78-1234, your password is 956781234.
Step 3: Click the Login Button
Click the Login button.
Step 4: The Blackboard Welcome Page
Your Blackboard Welcome page will now display. A sample page is shown below.
Expect your Welcome page to look different. It will show the Announcements and Course Links for courses you are enrolled in. View the "My Courses" area on the right and click on a course name to join your course. If the course you expect to see is not listed, you may need to self-enroll in the course.
