Terry Morris, 2004-2005 DoIT Faculty Coordinator, and Sarah Stark, DoIT Director, collaborated to create a Blackboard course site: the Student Distance Learning Tutorial.
- Fall 2006
The Harper College Department of Instructional Technology awarded Terry Morris a Faculty Fellowship in Fall 2006 to create a web-based and enhanced version of the materials in the original Student Distance Learning Tutorial, now renamed the Distance Learning Orientation. - Spring 2008, Fall 2008, Spring 2009
Terry Morris updated the website as needed including revised tutorials, new Blackboard Messages tutorial, and an overhaul of the login, password, and e-mail information due to new student portal, new student e-mail, and new Blackboard student usernames. - Spring 2011
The Harper College Center for Innovative Instruction awarded Terry Morris a Faculty Fellowship in Spring 2011 to redesign and update the website in preparation for the migration to Blackboard Learn. Permission was provided by Blackboard, Inc. to link to their video tutorials where applicable.
