Using Blackboard Orientation
Blackboard, located at http://harper.blackboard.com, is a course management system. Most Harper College online courses and many traditional classroom courses use Blackboard to display a course syllabus, schedule, assignments, discussion boards, quizzes, and other course-related documents.
Since it is up to each instructor to decide how Blackboard might be used, expect your courses to each look slightly different. Complete the materials in this orientation to using Blackboard so that you'll be comfortable in just about any Blackboard course site.
Use this orientation to meet your unique needs. If you are new to Blackboard, begin with Overview and continue through all the tutorials. If you are comfortable with Blackboard or just want a brush-up or want to find out how to use a feature that is new to you, select exactly the tutorial(s) you need.
