Using Blackboard: Linked Assignments
Although there may be many types of activities and assignments in your Blackboard course, one type of activity is a linked assignment, usually just called an assignment.
Linked assignments are indicated by a paper scroll and pencil icon shown at the left. Linked assignments consist of some instructions and a link to submit the assignment.
There may also be a document to download as part of the assignment. Linked assignments are "linked" to the Blackboard Gradebook. Your instructor may write comments for you to read after he or she evaluates your assignment.
Note: Not all instructors use linked assignments -- your instructor may prefer you to submit your work via e-mail, the Digital Dropbox or on the Discussion Board.
